Story

Akira's father, Tatsumi, lost a duel to the chairwoman of Kokuryou Academy, Methuselah, and is now held captive. To free him, Akira must enroll at the academy and climb the ranks of its dueling ladder, aiming to become the 'Duel Emperor'. This quest involves mastering the popular trading card game Verethragna, which allows players to summon and battle with deities, demons, heroes, and monsters from various dimensions.

During his time at the academy, Akira encounters unidentifiable monsters in the woods but is saved by Kisskill, the Goddess of Darkness, who appears as a card. With Kisskill's aid, Akira progresses through the school's dueling hierarchy, eventually becoming one of the 21 Knights (Ritter). His journey not only seeks to rescue his father but also to uncover Methuselah's true motives and the secrets connecting Verethragna to other worlds.

Gameplay

Players engage in combat through a trading card game system. The game also includes management elements and adventure segments.
