Story

Mikami Riko, 34, finds herself in a sexless marriage, causing her significant distress as her husband, Kiyoshi, shows no interest in their intimacy. Concurrently, Gotou Toshiaki, married to a woman ten years his junior, also experiences a loveless and sexless home life.

During a class reunion, Riko reconnects with Toshiaki, her former student-day boyfriend. As they confide in each other about their marital dissatisfactions, their bond quickly deepens, leading them into an affair. Despite their awareness of the infidelity, their relationship continues. Riko, disillusioned by her husband's lack of desire for children, soon develops a strong maternal longing, prompting her to consider drastic measures.
