Enja, individuals with special abilities stemming from "devils," are drawn together by an unseen force, often clashing in deadly encounters. Sora lost his parents years ago and now navigates this dangerous existence alone.

His journey involves forming contracts with various girls, leading him through a "hell of sadness, fights, and carnage." These relationships explore themes of love, obedience, and desire, challenging Sora's understanding of human connection. The culmination of his contracts brings him face-to-face with the ultimate devil.
